NBC: MUST SEE HYPOCRISY
NBC is a joke. They have plans to show Madonna in a mock crucifixion and have aired a twisted portrayal of Christians on “The Book of Daniel” and “The West Wing“. Now comes the thinly veiled Christian-bashing in the new show “Studio 60″.
This would be OK if NBC chose to present the other side or didn’t discriminate. They are featuring the show “Veggie Tales” on their Saturday morning block. They demanded that the show have edited out all Bible verses and mentions of God, including the signature line ‘God made you special and he loves you very much’. I can see how harmful that can be to young kids.
Apparently on NBC Christianity is acceptable if it can be portrayed negatively. But to say that “God made you special and loves you”? Sorry, we can’t do that. We wouldn’t want to offend anyone…except Christians I guess.
How twisted.
But here’s the real problem with ‘Studio 60′. It was boring with a banal script, formulaic rubbish at its worst.
