Cubs win the NL Central!
I think one of the most interesting things about this team is that everyone knows how much money was poured into this club. And those are the big guys on the team. But it’s often said you can’t buy a championship. And that was true for the Cubs this year.
Because without the many players coming up from the farm system, this team does not win the division.
Fontenot. Theriot. Marmol. Pie. Soto. Marshall. Hart. Even Sam Fuld. All of these guys have made big plays and made big contributions.
There are no juggernauts in the NL. This could be the year the Cubs get back to the World Series. Or, ya know…not. But it’s still incredible just to win a division.

Cubs did it!. . . Wirtz is dead!. . . I’m having a son in two months!. . . I’m getting married!. . . This is MY YEAR!!!!. . . Mark it Cubs victory in the postseason, next frame, THIS IS THE YEAR AND THE CUBS ARE REAL!

Cubs are least of my worries…the Bears are brutal.
Well, success in the NFL is fleeting for most teams. Look how pathetic the Rams are now. At least Lovie is getting the Bears to continue playing hard through all of their injuries. Linehan is showing what a horrible leader he is because that team has just plain quit on him.
You have no idea how hard this is for me, but here goes….
