GOTTA LOVE URLACHER
How great is it that Brian Urlacher is a Bear? He recently said this about the Chargers’ Shawne Merriman and his little hop dance:
“The thing is, if you’re going to do it, do it all the time,” Urlacher said. “Do it when you make a bad play too. You’ll never see me doing any stupid [stuff] like that after a play. The only thing I’ll do is get a little happy with my teammates.”
That quote is part of a great column by the Trib’s Vaughn McClure in which Urlacher talks about how much better the defense is this year and the Super Bowl loss to the Colts.
Bears-Chargers is a heck of an opening game.
Archuleta is a below average NFL safety. Bears fans will realize this fact very quickly.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Rivera pitches his experience with the Bears D to Norv Turner. The Bears linebackers will have their work cut out for them with LT out of the backfield and Gates over the middle and in the seam. A little nervous about this game, especially being week one.
Come on, you gotta love Light-Out! Merriman and Hester on the same field is going to be fantastic Sunday. Two coolest guys in the NFL.
Um, well…*Steroids* cough, cough.
I agree with WCSB. A road game against one of the best teams in the league to start the season is going to be TOUGH.
