ZAMBRANO’S RIPPAGE
Fabulous Labor Day Weekend here in Chicago. Felt old a bit when we had the telethon on and my nephew looked at the screen and said “Who’s that?”. I told him it was Jerry Lewis. “What does he do?” Oh boy.
So yeah, Zambrano. Just a few things on that.
1. Hopefully he will come out and dominate like he did after the whole Barrett incident. Maybe he is the type who needs some sort of mission. That would be sad, and likely not true, but maybe.
2. Watching him pitch on Sunday, he looked all out of whack. His windup and delivery just didn’t seem consistent or fluid. Maybe he does have some health issues. Who knows.
3. Does he rip the fans without that big ‘ol contract signed and sealed? Doubtful.
So what happens next? I say he goes out and throws a gem–a gem I say!!
Geez, if a Cardinals player had ripped the fans for booing him, you’d be all over him for it. Z does it and you blow it off. HOMER!!
Typical Cubs season. Get everyone’s hopes up. Maybe even make the playoffs then lose there. Guard your hearts Cub fans. This is no 2005 Chicago Championship team
