		<description>Yeah, I think this deal is almost standard for back of the rotation veteran pitchers nowadays...as ridiculous as that may seem to us folks in the real world.  I&#039;m definitely not sold that Pineiro is suddenly a solid pitcher again, but he did show me that he&#039;s regained something in his arm while he pitched for St. Louis in the last 6 weeks of the season.  Add Dave Duncan to the mix and us Cards fans may see a 10 or 12 win season out of him.  And like Tim said, if Weaver or Marquis can get that kind of money now, any starting pitcher can.</description>
