BOOK IT- MARTY IS BACK

2

With the signings of Corey Patterson and Jerry Hairston in Cincy, a scribe wrote that Dusty Baker is getting the band back together. Perhaps Jerry Angelo is doing some of the same. Sure-handed Marty Booker is coming back to the Bears.

Booker was a fan favorite back when he caught almost 200 balls for over 2200 yards in 2001 and 2002. He even managed to catch 50 passes last year for the woeful Dolphins.

I like the move because Booker can still be a solid possession receiver and the Bears don’t have that (or really any other proven WR). But the Bears still need to use a high pick on a wide receiver with star potential.

Getting the band back together is usually nice. But don’t let the next call be to Dez White.

Booker blah. I guess it would work out especially since we got him on the cheap 2 years 3.5 years compared to what Walker got 55m over 6 years 16m guaranteed. Holy crap that’s more then Moss. If I were a Raider fan I’d off myself. I’ve played Fantasy Football w/ newbies that are better GMs then Al Davis.

Back on topic. Hester will have better stats then Marty by the end of the year… BOOT IT!
