WHEN THE BULLS WERE DOMINANT- EP.1

No one knows when the next Bulls title run will occur. Could be a long time. So from time to time here on Zoner Sports we will revist “When the Bulls Were Dominant”. First up, one of the lasting memories of the great Bulls defense of the title run: the repeated rejecting of Charles Smith.

Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl
the good old days!!!!
I get chills watching that. I used VHS for the first time in a few years recently, watched all 6 championship videos. When I get down about the Bulls these days, I just think, “Well, at least we got 6 rings and had Michael Jordan.” Makes me feel a lot better!
Amazing find. I’m going to repost this on NQTC. I love Ewing trying to dribble too. Jordan totally ruined that guy’s career. Love those rings…
That’s definitely in my top 5 Bulls moments. My buddy just got a DVD set on all the championships and I think I’ll have to get that too.
Funny thing is if the Trailblazers picked Jordan, Krause gets the guy he really wanted in Sam Bowie and none of you guys would even care about the NBA right now.
Thanks Debbie Downer!
Proud to be of service.
Just keepin’ it real.
Well if you really wanted to ‘keep it real’, recall that Krause wasn’t even the GM then it was Rod Thorn. Olajuwon went 1st and the Blazers already had Drexler (and Jim Paxson who was better than his brother). So Jordan was always going to fall to the Bulls!
Okay, maybe it was Thorn at the time, but I distinctly remember them preferring Bowie to Jordan.
