I hear ya, but I just think Palmer is a mess now and has been for the past two years. Whatever his physical ailments are, they've eroded his overall skills quite a bit.

I'm not sure why your comments aren't approving right away. I did a software upgrade so maybe it doesn't like smilies anymore.

Anyway, I hear ya but the list had some conditions. One was for next year only and the other was that Brady and Palmer were healthy. The Bengals stink and Palmer has/had injuries. He's a stud when healthy. He and Eli have played about the same number of games and his numbers are by far better. If you had to win a game coming from behind, would you pick a healthy Palmer or Eli?

As for Romo, I would pick Eli over him by a hair after considering the talent around them and Romo's big game struggles. Which is not to say that Romo isn't good because he is.

You're a Bears fan, what do you know about good Quarterbacks? :)

As for Eli, maybe he's not an "elite" QB, but he's pretty damn good.

How can you not have Romo on that list? Matt Schaub is pretty solid as well.

Also, you should replace Palmer with Joe Flacco on the bottom of that list.
There's no way Carson Palmer is anywhere close to being a top tier QB any more. He used to be that good about 2 years ago, but those days are long gone.
