I was one comment and it was enough to have me register:

"Yeah, the only active manager in baseball to win a World Series in each league should certainly be moved down on the list. You Cardinals haters are hilarious."

Do you need to be reminded he also the only "active" manager to be swept in a World Series in both leagues?

From the article: Piniella managed the Mariners to multiple playoff appearances and, of course, 116 wins in 2001. He won a World Series in Cincinnati, and now he'll be going for three straight division titles with the Cubs.

And which is it? The top 5 could be ranked #1 or it's hating to move LaRussa down?

I think the top 5 are basically no-brainers. They could each be ranked #1. As for Piniella, what has he ever won? I think he's a very good manager, but he doesn't deserve to be on that list.

What?! You don't think the Lizard will lead my Cincinnati Reds back to respectability? I'm not sure I do either, but I sure hope so. I'm certain of this, he is better than anyone they've had since Trader Jack.

BTW, I agree that Manuel and Maddon should be included, and I think they should replace Leyland and Gaston. I guess LaRussa belongs on this list, but he certainly isn't #1. Scioscia , Cox, or Torre are more deserving of that spot.
