FERRELL’S ‘EASTBOUND AND DOWN’ DISAPPOINTS
Not exactly a leadoff base-hit for HBO’s new “Eastbound and Down”. From “The Live Feed“:
The premiere of HBO’s southern-fried comedy “Eastbound and Down” did a belly flop Sunday night, losing 40% of its lead-in from “Flight of the Conchords.” The Will Ferrell/Adam McKay-produced “Eastbound” was seen by only 671,000 viewers and drew a 0.3 rating.
Did anyone watch it? Did you like it? It had its moments, but it was over-the-top crass. I understand that the lead character is supposed to be that way, but I don’t really need to hear an F-bomb every 5 seconds for something to amuse me. I actually don’t need to hear it at all.
I didn’t see the show, but are you honestly telling me you have a problem with people using the F word? You’re sounding like a prude.
I watched it. I snickered like 3 times but mostly it was pure garbage. Worth taking a look at, but I won’t be watching it again.
I’m saying that you don’t need swearing to be funny.
Did you swear when you heard the Bulls re-acquired Tim Thomas?? LOL

There were a few good lines, but overall it was lame. One season and done for this show. FIRE FORD MANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111
