Looks like Adam Dunn got more than the rumored (planted?) $5 million a year. He ends up getting double that with a 2-yr, $20 million contract from the Nationals.

The Nationals could be an exciting club in 2009. Dunn joins a decent core of younger players like Dukes, Milledge, Zimmerman, Hanrahan, Lannan and Mock. They also added Josh Willingham, Scott Olsen and Daniel Cabrera. I’m not saying they will be next years Rays, but they certainly won’t lose 100 games in ’09.
