I know you did this to spark interest and get folks talking, but that’s just ridiculous. The Hawks are a great, young team, but even a marginal hockey fan like me realizes they’re not close to being a championship team yet. They’ll lose to Vancouver in 6 games.

It’s weird what draws traffic. This post is getting a lot of hits which is weird because I write about hockey once or twice a year.
It was mostly for fun, and this being a mostly Chicago blog, I went ahead and picked the Hawks as a semi-joke. And I don’t even think the bracket is correct!
Goes to show you why sports writers sometimes make some crazy prediction or comment in an article. So many times it brings on tons of interest in their column.
You know I figured since there was someone out there who actually blogged about me and my show I figured I would return the favor and participate in return. To be honest I don’t really follow hockey but I could tell you a few things here and there. Who says the Hawks couldn’t go all the way? They said the same thing about team USA in the 1980 winter Olympics and of course we all know the story on that one.
No doubt, the Hawks have a ton of young talent. Big Sean is right, you never know. They certainly took it to Vancouver last night on their home ice.
