Pitino Interested In Kings
Louisville coach Rick Pitino is a candidate for the Sacramento Kings job, Yahoo! Sports reported.
Pitino, Yahoo! reported, has let Kings’ ownership know he is interested in a return to the NBA. One league official said the Maloof family was “intrigued.”
I’m guessing this is a classic misunderstanding. I think Pitino thought the question was regarding the NBC show “Kings” and said he was interested. Only because it includes former Deadwood actor Ian McShane.
Why would such a successful college coach that has already done the pro thing be interested in the NBA again?
