Derek Jeter Jinxes Yankees
It comes as no surprise that the Yankees got smoked in game 1 of the World Series. Why? The day before the Series began, Jeter appeared on a show titled…wait for it… “The Biggest Loser”. Yes, it was pre-taped. Yes, it was a motivational speech for the contestants on the show. Yes, Jeter went 3-4 and scored the lone Yankee run. But superstitions and baseball go back further than sticking needles in butts. Shouldn’t have done that Jeter. Somewhere Turk Wendell is laughing.

After the game last night the announcer asked the yankees player if he was excited about the soon to be world champions and he said well we know this situation and anything can happen so we are not going to jump to any conclusions quite yet.
