It goes without saying that Mike Leach is a bit kooky. But I like listening to him talk and watching the expressions on his face. This video doesn’t disappoint. But it was labeled by ESPN as “Mike Leach ripping team’s ‘God Squad guys’”. I don’t think he’s ripping them at all. They also say how he threatens some of the players living situations and uses profanity. And that makes him different from any other coach how?

I like Leach if only because he says what he feels and doesn’t have a filter. We don’t get much of that these days. But here, ESPN is just trying to add fuel to the fire. More wacky goodness? Yes! But it isn’t ‘ripping’.
