AND WE’RE BACK!
So I feel like a NBA player in Chicago after my blog was hijacked and taken for a week long joyride. Luckily the bling remains. OK, that’s not exactly what happened. Let’s just say I’m a lot more learned about domains and hosting now.
Since it’s a rebirth of sorts, it’s good to go back to our roots. In 2005, the bread and butter of this silly blog was a fella named Neifi Perez. Valued reader PV invented one of the greatest baseball barbs ever when he yelled to Neifi, “A walk is not an out!”
As some years passed and our seats got better, we were pretty much able to tell him that to his face. Not that he was listening. Maybe he was all gooped up on gop.
So now Perez gets suspended again, this time for 80 games for using a banned stimulant. His ‘excuse’? He was diagnosed with ADHD. And when his meds ran out?
“Someone from the team told me I could use any amphetamine, and I started using something else,” the veteran said.
This is a 34 year old man with over 10 years in MLB. Lame.
