Big changes up at Halas Hall. Ron Turner, Pep Hamilton and Rob Boras are out. But the biggest news is that Rod Marinelli may move up to Defensive Coordinator. If that’s the case, then the Bears might hire a man of infamy.

Meanwhile, Joe Cullen, Marinell’s defensive line coach when Marinelli was the head coach of the Detroit Lions, was spotted at Halas Hall last week and could take over the Bears’ defensive line if Marinelli is promoted to coordinator.

In 2006, the Lions suspended Cullen after he was arrested twice, once on a drunk-driving charge and the other on a charge of driving naked through a fast-food drive-through lane.

So there you have it. Definitely a score for the Bears. Hire a guy with the judgment of a drunk college fratboy. He is friends with Marinelli, which is how the Lovie Smith Bears staffs are built.
