There will be no more excuses if the Bears fail to trade for Anquan Boldin.

From PFT: “A league source tells us that the Arizona Cardinals are shopping receiver Anquan Boldin to potential trade partners.”

It’s time for the Bears to show they are serious about creating a dominant offense. There is no doubt that Boldin is one of the top 10 receivers in the game, perhaps top 5.

Do you want to see how good Kyle Orton really is? Give him a 100-catch receiver and find out. Do you want to see if Devin Hester can truly graduate to a legit threat at receiver? Put him across from Boldin. Ease the load on Matt Forte and maybe provide a bit more running room? Anquan Boldin.

Do you want one of the top receivers in the NFL on your team for the next 4-6 years? Then go get him. Everything else is just noise.

The Bears and Jerry Angelo have proven themselves to be lacking when it comes to drafting and signing receivers. This trade would change all of that.
