Down Goes Harden
Something tells me the Cubs ain’t living right. Big Z is back but now Harden heads to the DL. And the Cubs were shut down by Jake Peavy last night. Big Lou, from the Trib:
“We get a starting pitcher and we lose one,” manager Lou Piniella said. “Hopefully it’ll just be a couple starts and he’ll be pitching again. … The amazing thing about it is, every time I’ve talked to him he’s felt really good. But this thing crept up and now we’ve got to deal with it.”
Harden, who rehabbed his shoulder all off-season, said he first felt some pain in his lower right side during his last start Sunday, adding, “It hit me out of nowhere.”
Maybe Randy Wells can get the Cubs a win tonight.
