FINALLY–A DECENT SUPER BOWL STORY
Peyton Manning was nervous to tango. Ruben Brown’s brother played in a Super Bowl. Lovie Smith made an attempt at humor. A pair of brothers will be part of Sunday’s officiating crew. Good gravy, the sports section resembles a gossip rag lately–or even worse–a blog (Hey-Ohhh!!).
Thankfully, I found one story of significance this morning. The Trib’s Don Pierson looks into the physical design of both the Bears and Colts and how strength and conditioning programs have been essential to their success.
Nutrition advice has made such an impact on players that Brian Urlacher says, “If Rusty tells me to eat dirt, I’ll eat dirt.”
Click the link above and read the article. It’s good stuff. As for the game, I’m beginning to feel like I did in the days prior to the Saints game. The more I think about it the more I think the Bears will win. Could be the kool-aid though. But I feel really good about the Bears’ chances.
