Rex Grossman Still Getting Dissed

rex-grossmanRex Grossman barely played for the Bears last season. He’s not even on the team anymore, and says he might try out for the UFL. Yet fans still remember “Bad Rex”, as evidenced on a recent episode of “Pros vs. Joes”.

This was a football episode and the Pros were Steve Mc Nair, Pacman Jones and Priest Holmes.

There were some good lines in the show but the best was when Mc Nair missed badly on 3 passes in a row. The pass rusher said, “What do you got Steve? You look more like Rex Grossman right now.”

Maybe the image of “Bad Rex” lives forever.

    Indeed I was a Rex fan. I’m merely reporting here, no commentary. Just found it funny that of all the QBs the guy could have used to talk trash to McNair, he used Grossman.

    I think Rex should be looking for an NFL gig, not trying out for the UFL. He might want to get a new agent if he thinks that’s his best option. He can definitely play in the league.

    I feel kinda bad for Rex. Still, I think he’s just not a smart enough QB to be a good player in the NFL. Turnover machine.

    The one thing that hurt Rex was him not being able to be consistant. He would have a great game one week and then have a terrible game the next. Don’t get me wrong bad games happen with all quarterbacks but Rex’s bad games really stood out. One game he had a QB rating of 1 and then in the New Year’s eve game against Green Bay he posted a 0 rating. Brad Maynard had a better QB rating that night. Even on a bad game a consistant quarterback could at least have his rating in the 30′s.
