HOW THE NFC NORTH IS WON

The Vikes have a tough road to hoe. This week they play at Arizona. Then they get the Falcons at home. And they end the year facing the Super Bowl Champion Giants. Certainly anything can happen. But I think it is entirely possible that the Vikes can lose out. But since that may be a bit of wishful thinking, let’s assume they beat the Falcons at home and lose the other 2. They end up 9-7 and hold all tiebreakers over the Bears. So if they do go 2-1 it’s on to the playoffs for AP and the gang.
The Bears seemingly have to win out. And the schedule sets up as well as possible for this to happen. They get the Saints on Thursday. A dome team on the road in the cold with a short turnaround? Win. Then it’s the Packers here in Chicago. I don’t expect the Pack to be totally dead fish as this is still a big rivalry. But the Bears will have revenge, playoff hopes, rivalry and home field. I like them to win this one. Then it’s the Texans in Houston. This is the scariest game of all. The Texans beat the Pack at Green Bay and they are 2-1 against the NFC. They also can score points. Their defense is porous so it may be a shootout.
I think the Bears will get to the playoffs. What do you think?
