Incredible Soccer Goal With Incredibly Cheezy Call

150clintNo, I am not a big fan of soccer. But I love sports and I love greatness when I see it. I also love cheezy calls from play-by-play announcers. So here’s Clint Dempsey’s insane goal, which according to the announcer is “the stuff that dreams are made of.”

    The “Dream” he is referring to is entry into the quarter finals of the Europa League. A feat never achieved by Fulham (Dempsey’s team) and now a certainty, thanks to that late goal and the amazing team performance that preceded it. So, as cheezy as it sounds, the call is a statement of fact rather than hyperbole.

    You should watch the whole game. It may make you into a football fan.
