MADDUX TO L.A.
The Cubs have reached a tentative deal to send Greg Maddux to the Dodgers, FOXSports.com has learned. Apparently it’s for Cesar Izturis. Izturis made his 2006 debut in June after coming back from Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. The former Gold Glove shortstop has seen time at third base and second base while batting .252 with one home run and 12 RBIs in 32 games.
This is so Cubs because Izturis has career averages of .260/.295/.339. He will be the new Neifi Perez.
