MADNESS AND MORE

If you haven’t yet, don’t forget to vote in the “Best Sports Blog Name” tourney! Some other tourney stuff for ya:

Zoner Sports was invited to the InGameNow “March Madness Bloggers’ Fantasy League”. I’m totally stoked about it. Each person gets to pick any 5 players. Then you get that player’s points/boards/dimes for every round. I think I may have a sleeper. I’ll reveal my picks later…

Great interview by my guy LJ with Chicago’s Jeff Curran, as he prepares for WEC 40.  Chicago’s MMA

This series always makes me want to break out the old baseball cards. I vote for Terry Puhl to be next. He was dominant in RBI and he was the last card I needed to complete my 1982 Topps set. You know who else was dominant in RBI? Steve Bedrosian. This week’s Random Retro Baseball Player.  Sharapova’s Thigh

More Hardball took a look at some MLB players’ last names like Bass, Pie, Ray, and Hill and photoshopped appropriate baseball cards to their namesake. I wonder if Topps would market these?
