NBA Betting Preview: Washington Wizards at Atlanta Hawks
Game: Washington Wizards (5-8) @ Atlanta Hawks (8-7)
Date: Thursday November 25, 2010
Match Preview: Two teams out of the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference will get together and go at it on Thanksgiving night and it should be a good game for some betting.
The Washington Wizards are 5-8 to start the 2010 – 2011 season. Washington is in fourth place in the division; two games behind Miami and Atlanta for second place. The Wizards are coming off a 116-114 win over Philadelphia on Tuesday night where rookie John Wall poured in 25 points. The former Kentucky star point guard is averaging just under 19 points per game and 9.3 assists per game.
The Wizards are averaging 97.9 points offensively, while allowing 104.2. The Hawks come into the game losers of three straight games. Atlanta lost at New Jersey 107-101 in overtime on Tuesday night. The Hawks are led in offense by Joe Johnson, who is scoring 17.5 points per game.
Atlanta ranks fourth in the NBA in assists, dishing out 23.9 per game, led by Johnson’s 5.2 per game.
As always I place some bets for the game to add to my excitement!
So this is my prediction for this Wizards vs Hawks: Atlanta will use the home court advantage to their favor and snap the losing streak. The Hawks win. Atlanta 101-91. For this game I place my bets at BetUS where they usually offer good NBA odds.
