NFL Week 4: Giants @ Cardinals
New York Giants @ Arizona Cardinals Sun. Oct. 2, 2011 4:05 p.m. EST
Last week the New York Giants showed that they are not a team to be taken for granted as they can play with any team in the league after beating the division rival Philadelphia Eagles in convincing fashion, 29-16.
One of the biggest reasons for the Giants resurgence in Week 3 was superstar quarterback Michael Vick getting banged up for the second straight game. The first report was that Vick had broken his right hand against the Giants, but now it appears that his hand is just bruised.
Even though the Eagles seem to have their fair share of problems, the Giants are on a roll as of late with two straight wins and a second place standing in the NFC East. Despite having a 2-1 record and a higher standing in the NFC East than anticipated before the season began, the Giants will have to keep up their winning ways in order to stay in playoff contention in the NFC Conference.
With that being said, Week 4’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals could be a vital one as they should get the best of Kevin Kolb and company. The Cardinals are by no means pushovers this season as they have played pretty well in the first three games, but they will most likely be on the losing end of this one.
As of right now, the New York Giants have been given the edge in Week 4 with a -1 point spread. This spread pretty solid in my opinion as Eli Manning and company should get the win in Arizona this weekend.
Take the Giants at -1, good odds at Oddsmaker right now.
