Ozzie Guillen followed up on his recent rant with style, even name dropping Barney. Yes, that Barney-the big purple goof. He compared watching the Sox this season to a child watching Barney.

“It’s like your kid is 2 years old and he likes Barney,” Guillen said. “And you put that little [kid] down there for three hours watching that [stuff] back and forth, back and forth, the same song for six hours. That’s what I’ve been doing since April. Same thing, rewind it.”

And Ozzie had something for the people who took umbrage with his previous comments. You knew he would, right?

“They can kiss my [butt] … all those people in the United States, talking [trash] about me, about that problem,” Guillen said. “They don’t know what [stuff] we’re going through every four hours and suffer. It’s not easy.”

I love Ozzie. And he’s right. I don’t know what they are going through during those four hours. I haven’t watched an entire Sox game in a loooooong time.
