Preview: In the Big Ten, two teams that would love to get a win to improve their tournament resume will get together. The winner of this game will take on the winner of the Ohio State/Northwestern game. Illinois won the only meeting between the two teams at home; back on February 16th, by two points.

The teams come into the game with identical 19-12 records, while 9-9 in conference play. Both teams appear to be heading to the NCAA tournament, but the bubble is a possibility for both squads. The Fighting Illini are led in scoring by Demitri McCamey and his 15 points per game.

The point guard has been up and down all season, as he is also dishing out 6.1 assists per game. The Illini lost three of their last five during the regular season, but blew out Indiana in the finale.

For Michigan, two wins over rival Michigan State may have been the ticket to get them to the big dance. The Wolverines won three of their last four, with the only loss coming to Wisconsin. The Wolverines were led in scoring by Darius Morris and his 15.1 points per game. Michigan as a team scored 66.5 points per game, which was one of the lowest in the conference.

Time to bet on the game. We recommend Bookmaker where you also bet live on the game. Our prediction for this game: This is a very difficult game to pick, but we are going to go with the battle tested Illini to win the game. Illinois comes away with a 61-59 win over Michigan.
