REDSKINS LOOK TERRIBLE
If I’m a Redskins fan, I’m extremely aggravated right now.
With a bit more than 5 minutes to play in the game and down 2 scores, the Redskins were taking their sweet time getting back to the huddle and calling plays. Why they were even huddling would be a great question for new leader Jim Zorn. Zorn seemed oblivious to the clock while looking at his scribbly play sheet and figuring what to call next.
Not to mention he was calling 3 running plays in a row when the clock needed to be stopped. Then some Bears-esque pass plays where the routes were those little 3-yard outs. It was painful to watch. I expected them to come out with a high-powered, exciting offense. It was anything but.
The Giants have a great defense. But the Washington offense was incredibly boring. And their defense was shredded by both Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward, who combined for 155 yards rushing.
