If you’ve watched, listened or followed the Bulls at all recently, you know that the Bulls seem like one fine mess. Nocioni getting irritaed by effort. Joakim Noah still sucking wind. Larry Hughes complaining about playing time. And so much more. Steve Rosenbloom sums it up:

The Bulls are bad, injured and showing the coach no respect. Halfway into the season, meanwhile, the coach is saying they “still don’t have our energy.”

This is a joke, right?

I mean, does anybody here have any pride?

The Bulls lose six of seven, including one big pukefest to the Timberwolves, and these guys don’t have energy?

Man, you’d think they’d have a bunch of energy with all the pregame eating in the locker room going on.

That, too, is such a joke, as is the so-called coach. Players obviously have no respect for Vinny Del Noexperience, Vinny Del Boylan, Vinny Del Doormat — whatever you want to call him. If they has a Twinkie’s worth of respect for the guy, they wouldn’t break rules so blatantly.

But they break the rules. Not much happens. The Bulls charge felonious amounts of money to watch guys who barely register on the Give-A-Damn-O’Meter. Fun.

How pathetic are the Bulls that they almost lost to the Kings?

The Bulls have to make some serious changes and it would be great if they get something done by the deadline. Even the gentle Chuck Swirsky and mild-mannered Bill Wennington were taking Noah to task on the radio broadcast the other night for being winded. How is that possible in January?

C’mon Pax, swing something soon. We really don’t want to watch this for another 47 games.

u know i watch every game. same with my dad. i can honestly say that this years team is probably the least enjoyable one to watch. i even liked the jcraw, fizer or artest, bmiller or even curry chandler years better.

i agree Dock. It’s just so painful to watch. no cohesion. sloppy, ugly ball most of the time.

Wow. There was talk that Noah would be the number one overall pick if he came out in 2006. Now he’s not even in shape to compete. Where is the burning desire to win that he claimed to have?

  • Joe LoCascio

Do the Bulls have an offense installed? They don’t seem to have a plan out there and most of the guys look like they don’t give a damn. I think that is 100% on the coach. You never see a Utah team slacking. Keep Rose and buh bye to the coach and all the rest of the players. JL

Anyone hear Paxson on the radio this morning saying the Bulls defense needs to be simplified?? What the heck is he talking about? I mean, is he actually blaming the coach for installing too difficult of a defense for the teams inability to cover anyone?? WOW.

Honestly, I used to think Pax was a solid guy who would be a good GM, but the more I hear from him, I think he’s an excuse maker who really doesn’t have a clue how to build a successful franchise.

Wow–I did not hear that. The defense needs to be simplified? Didn’t they talk about all that when he was wowed by Del Negro in the interviews?

I’ll have to go listen to that. Was that on the Score?

I’ve been a season ticket holder for four seasons now and it pains me to say that I keep the 11 game plan because the entertainment during the timeouts keeps my three year-old entirely captivated. During the actual “game”, I find myself wondering what Benny will do next. :(

  • dhaab

LOL, Schmidty! Do you like hockey? I’m actually starting to become a fan of the Blackhawks. FUN team to watch. I’m going to the next Blues game in the UC.

  • Schmidty

Eh, I may slowly come around. I used to follow the Hawks back in the late 80′s but that was mostly because the owner of the restaurant/deli I worked at in high school was a HUGE fan and had satellite just to watch them (back when the only places with dishes were bars!). I was merely subjected to games every night I worked, so couldn’t help but follow them. I did watch the Classic on NYD. My wife laughed when she came into the basement and my daughter and I were watching it…my wife told the tyke to make note of “the only time you’ll ever watch a hockey game with Daddy”. I may make her eat those words. :)
