THE PRO BOWL!!

0

I’m still giddy from that Pro Bowl yesterday. Dwight Freeney was all over the place man! Actually I didn’t watch it. I know–go figure.

The Pro Bowl is the lamest of all the pro sports all-star games. It certainly is played in the most awesome of locations, but the game itself comes after the biggest game of the season and it’s just boring. The best All-Star games? Basketball. It’s fun to watch. The players are having fun. Alley-oops. Throwing it off the backboard and slamming it home. Good times. Great for the fans.

Baseball. Not because it “means something”. That the All-Star game determines home field advantage for the World Series is the most ridiculous thing Bud Selig has ever done. He only instituted that rule because of his lame decision to call a tie during the 2002 game. But because of the individual battles. The Unit vs. Kruk. Batter/Pitcher matchups like that.

Do you have a favorite? Did you watch the Pro Bowl?
