THEY HAVE A WIKIPEDIA: VAN EARL WRIGHT

I suppose anyone can have a Wikipedia entry. But it’s still interesting to see so many different pages, and to find some you didn’t think would be there. Hence the new segment: “They Have a Wikipedia”.

Leading off: Van Earl Wright.

You may remember Van Earl as one of the early adopters of flamboyant highlight calls from his CNN Headline News days.

You may not have known that he is the current voice for “American Gladiators”, and he appeared in a kid’s show called “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”, where he sported what looks like a pretty fantastic mullet.

His Wiki also mentions that, “In one CNN Headline Sports segment he said the following about former overweight major league pitcher Sid Fernandez, “Sick….and I mean SICK Sid Fernandez”! His signature greeting is “Hellllooooo Everybodyy.”

Van Earl Wright: sportscaster, actor and Wikipedia entry haver.
