THIS IS A FOUL

9

This is totally a foul. Regardless, my beloved Spurs shouldn’t have let it come to that point.

Basketball refs are the absolute worst of all sports. They’re inconsistent and often miss calls. It drives me crazy. I’d like to see more replays in basketball also. But I think they don’t do that many replays to protect the refs rather then the speed of the game.

Baseball refs are close behind. No replay? OMG stupid? Baseball is so slow, it’s the perfect sport for replay. Then the strike zone absolutely sucks. The zone is all over the place from ref to ref and even pitch to pitch in some cases.

NFL is heads and shoulders above other sports, especially considering how many more rules there are in football.

Wow, they blew that one. Donaghey is still alive and well in the NBA… FIRE MILLEN MANG!

I put together a full breakdown of this game and I think it covers just about every base. Let me know what you think and whether you agree.

All I see on that blog is a lot of Laker humping. FIRE MILLEN MANG!

Lis, baseball doesn’t have “refs”. And the strike zone changes because the umpires are human beings. If you want to watch an automated game decided by computers, buy a video game.

As for this play, the contact was initiated by Barry leaning into Fisher, so it isn’t that blatant of a non-call. And the Spurs have benefited from calls going their way for a LONG time now, so call this one a little bit of karma coming back to them.

No and no! He pump fakes and Fisher bites on it and falls into him. what are you watching? I do some reffing and I would have totally called that.

  • dhaab

OHHH!! You do some reffing. I guess that makes your opinion more valid. (sarcasm)

Actually it does. But now even the NBA has come out and said it was a foul.

  • dhaab

Maybe it was a foul, but that’s not the point. If you went back and watched the tape of that game (or any other NBA game) you could probably find 15 calls that were missed. It’s called human error and it happens in sports every single game.
