The other day I posted on the best quips of the year. It contained a few from “The Office”. I found a website called “Quotes From The Office“. Oddly enough, it has quotes from “The Office”. OK, enough of that. But if you are not watching this show you’d better start. Here’s a few samples of hilarity:

Michael Scott: “Abraham Lincoln once said that “If you’re a racist, I will attack you with the North” and these are the principles I carry with me in the workplace.”

“What is the single most important thing for a company? Is it the building? Is it the stock? Is it the turnover? It’s the people. The people. My proudest moment here wasn’t when I increased profits by 17%, or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No, no, no ,no. It was a young Guatamalan guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went “Mr Scott, will you be the Godfather to my child?” Didn’t work out in the end. We had to let him go. He sucked.”

I’d love the part in tonight’s episode (mini spoiler if you didn’t watch it) where Dwight takes off his suit coat and it looks like he’s going to give it to Pam, and then he ties it around his waist and says something like, “It’s hot in here.”

I just started watching the DVDs of the first 2 seasons of this show a couple weeks ago… what a great show!

The sad thing is, there is a man I work with who is Dwight Shrute. I don’t know whether to laugh, or cry whenever he talks to me.

    I feel like Jim Halpert.

    Happy New Year, Zoner man.

There’s a Dwight Schrute, although not to his extremes, in every workplace.

And that was hilarious when he took the coat off and the line he delivered to Pam when she was crying.

It’s the fastest half-hour on TV. I wish it was an hour or longer. And the foil for Dwight, the guy from the Daily Show, has been an awesome addition.

I, to you, in addition, agree – it goes by too fast! And this week was great. It’s at the point that just seeing Dwight has me laughing.
