The Bulls need a leader big time. And he will also make the other players better around him. I picture him with Thabo, Thomas and Noah running teams off the floor. Riddle me this: do you think D’Antoni wishes he was the Bulls coach now?

Bulls are gonna trade the pick to get Brand back, LOL! I actually think Beasley is the guy though. Great tourney run notwithstanding, I don’t think Rose is quite the shooter he’s been made out to be. He’s almost the opposite of Gordon…a pass-first point who can play defense and is a suspect scorer.

Wow. Rose can score. He drives, stops, then hangs for those short jumpers, he’s a decent 3-point shooter and everyone knows he can get to the basket. But I agree–he is a pass-first point. Which is fine. And he works very hard defensively. I would be shocked if Paxson doesn’t take him, especially if he watched any of the Spurs/Hornets series.

Rose is the pick. He is a point guard, a leader, though I would not say he is pass first shoot second. He drives the ball to the hoop, will get to the line, score and distribute. Good Bye Capt. Kirk, it was nice knowing you.

Me and a friend (who’s a Bulls fan) were joking the other day that the Bulls getting the #1 pick this year proves the NBA is rigged. Boston and LA are dominant again and all the league now needs is the Bulls to regain their form.

And before any of you start ripping me for this, it was said mostly in jest. Not completely, though.

BTW, I think Rose will be the better player of the two.
